Transfer Talk: Real Madrid planning €44m swoop for Manchester United striker
Radamel Falcao could be on his way for Spain with Sami Khedira going in the opposite direction
Real Madrid are the latest club to be linked to on-loan Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao.
The Spanish giants are monitoring the Colombian's situation at Old Trafford where the talented forward has failed to deliver the level of performances United supporters had hoped for after his summer arrival.
The 29 year-old will be a United player until his loan deal from AS Monaco runs out at the end of the season and it seems increasingly likely that Louis van Gaal will not retain the services of the frontman.
The Sunday Express reports that the La Liga giants are preparing a €45m swoop for the player who has managed just four goals in an interrupted season.
One player who may be moving in the opposite direction is World Cup winner Sami Khedira.
The Red Devils have been offered the chance to sign Germany midfielder on a Bosman according to The Star, but it would cost them £200,000 per week.
Khedira has fallen down the pecking order this season with the club preferring international team-mate Toni Kroos in central midfield.
