The transfer rumour mill is steadily kicking into gear as summer approaches, as Manchester United are linked with a sensational swap deal for a Premier League forward while Arsenal could be set to lose one of their prized assets.

The Express writes that Manchester United are planning a sensational swap deal that would see Sadio Mane come to Old Trafford from Southampton and Memphis Depay head in the opposite direction.

Antoine Griezmann could be the subject of a summer bidding war, reports the Sun. The Atletico Madrid striker, who has fired his club to the Champions League semi-finals, is ready to listen to offers, with Chelsea and Manchester United keen on bringing him to England.

Louis van Gaal's outfit look likely to lose out on Borussia Dortmund centre-half Mats Hummels, who is set to join German champions Bayern Munich.

However, the Manchester club, as well as Chelsea and Arsenal, are being linked with another centre-back in the form of PSG's Marquinhos, who the Star say is in talks over a potential departure from the French champions.

There is the possibility of a German international defender joining the top tier of English football, however, as Colonge's 25-year-old Jonas Hector has been given the go-ahead to join Liverpool, according to the Metro.

Bayern Munich could bee set to swoop for Alexis Sanchez, who might be the next Arsenal star to leave the club, reports the Mirror. The Bundesliga champions are thought to be interested in the Chilean winger and are lining up a summer bid.

Movement could occur in the opposite direction between the two clubs as well, following comments from star striker Robert Lewandowski in a France Football interview. 101greatgoals.com report the striker as having said he could see himself playing in England while he idolises Thierry Henry.

Lastly in Munich and Arsenal's very own branch of the rumour mill, Arsene Wenger's side have offered a three-year contract to Bayern right-back Rafinha. The 30-year-old would be competing with PFA Team of the Year member Hector Bellerin, who is (you guessed it) reportedly on Munich's shortlist for a Rafinha replacement.

Chelsea have been put on red alert in their pursuit of Leonardo Bonucci, according to the Mirror. The Juventus defender, who is wanted by incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte, has refused to commit his future to the Serie A champions..

Celtic could be about to hijack Aston Villa's appointment of Nigel Pearson, says the Express. Pearson is a frontrunner for the Villa Park job, but he has reportedly been in talks with the Scottish side about heading north of the border.
