Manchester United are linked to yet another midfielder while a former one, Paul Pogba, has no shortage of offers if Juventus' asking price is met.

Louis van Gaal is in the hunt to bolster his midfield and a whole host of players have been linked with a summer move to Old Trafford.

The Daily Mirror says that Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia could be on the wishlist.

The 29 year-old defensive midfielder joined Lazio from Anderlecht and has 27 international caps for Argentina since making his bow in 2011.

The paper says that the player would cost the club around £8m.

Meanwhile former United player Paul Pogba has seven offers of clubs to join according to his agent Mino Raiola.

Juventus have put a €100m price tag on the talented Frenchman and his progress in Turin has prompted interest from the continent’s wealthiest and most powerful clubs.

Speaking to Spanish newspaper Marca, Raiola said: “How much is Pogba worth? More than €100m, but the price will be set by the team that buys him."

"With Pogba, you buy the leader of the new generation. There are seven [clubs] that can buy him, including Barca. I am in contact with all of the them, less so with Madrid."

Real Madrid have contacted Jose Luis Gaya’s representatives to see if he would be interested in moving to the Bernabeu, according to Spanish newspaper AS.

The Valencia left-back, 19, has been one of the revelations of the La Liga season, but the club are desperate for him to stay and they are urgently looking to tie him down to a new contract.
