No move for Seamus Coleman as Man United agree £12.7m fee for Matteo Darmian
It would appear that Seamus Coleman will not be on his way to Old Trafford after Manchester United agreed a fee of £12.7m (€18m) for Torino right-back Matteo Darmian.
Sky Italia are reporting that United and Torino have settled on a price after two failed bids for the defender.
Louis van Gaal decided against signing Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne, who eventually joined Liverpool, and Everton's Coleman and now it appears the Dutchman was waiting for a deal to be completed for Darmian.
The 25-year-old is used to playing at right-back, but can fill in at centre-half and has played 13 times for his country.
Man United will listen to offers for Rafael da Silva, according to Sky sources.
The right-back has been at Old Trafford for seven years but featured just 11 times under Van Gaal last season.
Galatasaray are one of three clubs, along with Serie A rivals Napoli and Fiorentina, to have shown an interest.
