Naby Keita joins Liverpool for next season
RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita has agreed to join Liverpool next season according to multiple reports.
Keita has been pursued heavily by Liverpool this summer with manager Jurgen Klopp keen to add another centre midfielder to his squad after letting Lucas Leiva leave for Lazio last month.
Leipzig had previously rejected a £57.3m (€62m) bid for the player, which was then followed by a £66m (€71.40m) bid, which was also rejected, however, now it appears that the Bundesliga club have accepted a third bid for the player with Keita understood to have completed his medical at the club on Monday morning.
Reports indicate that he will join Liverpool in July 2018. The agreed fee was undisclosed but is understood to be a club record.
