Mario Balotelli's Liverpool nightmare finally about to end

Mario Balotelli looks set to end his fruitless spell at Liverpool and according to reports, the Italian international will rejoin AC Milan on a season-long loan.
Balotelli joined Liverpool late in the transfer window just 12 months ago with Brendan Rodgers hoping to fill the void left by Luis Suarez but the £16m striker has been a massive disappointment.
Rodgers made it clear that he was an unwanted man at Anfield this season and the 25-year-old was forced to train away from the first-team squad after a debut season which yielded just one goal from 16 Premier League appearances.
The much-maligned attacker is due a six-figure "loyalty bonus" should he remain on Merseyside past the transfer deadline but Liverpool have moved quickly to prevent this and consequently he is set for a loan spell in Milan with a medical scheduled for Tuesday.
It is believed that there is no loan fee between the clubs and that Liverpool will stump up half of his £80,000 a week wag packet.
