Manchester United target Sergio Ramos breaks his silence: 'I am not negotiating with anyone'
Manchester United target Sergio Ramos has insisted he is not in talks with anyone amid increasing speculation that the Real Madrid man is on the move to the Premier League.
The Spaniard has held his counsel all summer and he had a swift response for reporters when he was approached attending a friend's wedding.
"I'm not negotiating with anyone," Ramos told Spanish TV channel Cuatro. "All is well".
It has been reported in the Spanish media that Ramos' desire for a move is "not about the money" and that there is a gulf between the club and the player is too big to repair.
The Spanish international asked the Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, to allow him to leave the club earlier this week, but there was still conjecture on whether it was a play for a new contract.
United have already made two bids for the Spanish defender rejected - one of £32.5 million and a second of £42.5 million and are understood to be the only potential destination for Ramos after Florentino Perez insisted he would only allow the player to leave for the Premier League club.
