Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted it is his childhood dream to join Real Madrid after being linked with a mega-money Premier League move.

The Gabon international has enjoyed the best season of his career to date, bagging 20 Bundesliga goals already this term as he has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked to the player who has reportedly been valued at €80m by Dortmund with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp a big admirer of the 26-year-old.

However the red-hot striker has declared his wish to join Zinedine Zidane’s Madrid.

"My childhood dream? To play at Real Madrid,” he told French newspaper  L’Equipe.

"In 2014, before he died, I promised my grandfather who was from Avila, 110 kilometers from Madrid, that I would play there. It will be complicated, but it sits in a corner of my head.

"When I was a kid, I watched Hugo Sanchez videos. The backflip I sometimes do when I score is actually an homage to him.”
