Chelsea are reportedly interested in former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez, according to the Metro.

The Argentinian forward, who is currently at Boca Juniors, has been linked with a number of lucrative deals to Europe, and Chelsea see him as an ideal replacement for Diego Costa should he leave this summer.

However, the 32-year-old has told Corriere dello Sport  that he is happy in Argentina, saying: "I’m fine at Boca.

"Indeed my idea, my dream is to finish my career as a player in this wonderful club.

"Europe? Yes, it’s true Napoli and Chelsea seek me, but I repeat what I said before.

"My desire is to stay at Boca until I retire."

West Ham United revealed last month that they attempted to sign the Tevez, but his wage demands were too high.
