Transfer watch: Ledley concentrating on Celtic over Cardiff
Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley has played down speculation linking him with a return to Cardiff.
Bluebirds could be set to make a £3m bid to bring the Wales international back to the club he quit for the Hoops in 2010.
Ledley admits the prospect of playing in the Premier League is a big attraction for some players but insists his focus is on the Scottish champions.
He said: "It's just rumours at the moment. There has been nothing official.
"A lot of players want to play in the Premier League and that's why they have done pretty well with their signings so far.
"It does attract people, but at the moment I'm with Celtic and I'm just concentrating on a big week ahead of me."
BESIKTAS HOPEFUL OVER ADEBAYOR SWITCH
Besiktas remain keen on signing Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor if they can escape a ban for alleged match-fixing.
Adebayor's future at Tottenham has been the subject of intense speculation all summer with Spurs thought to be in the market for striking reinforcements.
Besiktas have confirmed their interest in Adebayor, but fear a ban from European competition will scupper their chances of landing the former Arsenal and Manchester City man.
They face a ban from the 2013-14 Europa League for alleged involvement in match fixing, but they have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and are confident of getting the decision overturned.
CARDIFF have completed the signing of goalkeeper Simon Moore from Brentford on a four-year deal.
City manager Malky Mackay had previously confirmed a deal had been agreed with the Bees, with the 23-year-old becoming a Bluebird yesterday after the necessary paperwork was completed.
Moore said: "I'm delighted to be at Cardiff City – to play in the Premier League has always been my goal. It's exciting to think that I'll be working with quality goalkeepers like David Marshall and Joe Lewis every day."
