TOTTENHAM

Hugo Lloris: Made some good saves but could have done better with the second goal. 6 (out of 10)

Kyle Walker: Tireless display down the right. Could have been more precise with his end product. 7

Toby Alderweireld: Tough battle with Welbeck but scored an important equaliser. 7

Kevin Wimmer: Another composed display and made a crucial intervention to deny Ramsey late on. 7

Danny Rose: Creative down the left flank before going off with cramp in the second half. 7

Mousa Dembele: Strong in possession. Spurs look much better with him back in the side. 7

Eric Dier: Authoritative but lucky not to be given a second yellow card in the second half. 6

Dele Alli: Excellent work rate to set up Kane's goal. 7

Christian Eriksen: Unusually sloppy in possession at times but influential nonetheless. 6

Erik Lamela: One of Tottenham's hardest workers out of possession. 7

Harry Kane: Back in form. His stunning goal deserved to win the match. 8

Subs

Ryan Mason (for Lamela, 66): Worked hard in midfield and tidy on the ball. 6

Ben Davies (for Rose, 77): Too late to make an impact going forward but solid defensively. 6

Son Heung-min (for Dembele, 82): Struggled to make an impact. 5

ARSENAL

David Ospina: Made several good saves, an encouraging performance standing in for Petr Cech. 7

Per Mertesacker: Tough battle with Kane but grew into the match as it went on. 7

Gabriel: Made some important blocks. Solid display. 6

Kieran Gibbs: Gave the Gunners an outlet going forward. Looks a good pick for England. 7

Mohamed Elneny: Comfortable in possession. Impressed on his full Barclays Premier League debut. 7

Francis Coquelin: Given a second yellow card after a brainless foul and arguably cost his side a victory. 5

Aaron Ramsey: Superb flicked finish to put Arsenal in front but quiet thereafter. 7

Mesut Ozil: Not one of his best games. 6

Alexis Sanchez: Sharp and dangerous going forward. Deserved his goal. 7

Danny Welbeck: Made good runs down the flanks and justified his selection up front. 7

Subs

Olivier Giroud (for Elneny, 75): Played a nice ball forward but otherwise quiet. 6

Mathieu Flamini (for Welbeck, 85): Provided defensive cover late on. 6

Joel Campbell (for Ozil, 89): Too little time to make an impact. 6
