Blackburn Rovers captain Elliott Bennett and two Fulham players have tested positive for coronavirus in the Championship's latest round of testing, which involved 1,030 players and staff on Monday and Tuesday.
"I feel fit and healthy," Bennett (31) said. "Hopefully this sends out a positive message that perhaps many people have or have had the virus without showing any effects.
"There seems to have been a lot of hysteria about footballers returning to training but it's the people who are seriously ill in hospital that we need to worry about."
Meanwhile, League One clubs fear they will not know how their season is being decided until at least June 8, following another English Football League board meeting on Wednesday.
It seemed there would be a vote on whether the campaign should finish or if the league should opt for a points-per-game system to decide promotion, play-off places and relegation.
That is still likely to be the case, although clubs may also be asked to consider a plan put forward by Tranmere Rovers owner Mark Palios under which clubs would gain promotion and compete in an expanded play-off format but relegation would be voided if the season is curtailed.
