Thiago Silva makes 'come and get me' plea to Barcelona
Thiago Silva's agent has told Barcelona to put their money where their mouth is if they truly want to sign the Brazilian centre-back.
Silva is reported to be the Catalan club's number one target this summer as they seek to strengthen their central defence.
The PSG centre-back claimed after the Confederations Cup final that Barca boss Tito Vilanova had told him after the Champions League quarter-final tie between the two sides in April to come and join him at the Nou Camp.
He said: "Tito is an excellent coach, and someone I really admire. After the game in the Champions League we had a brief chat and he asked me to go and play for his side."
However, the defender insisted the two clubs were not in discussions about his transfer and declared he was unlikely to swap Paris for Barcelona, saying: "There are no negotiations.
"In football you never know what's going to happen, but I'm happy at PSG, I'm very relaxed there. I speak with the president nearly every day and it'll be very difficult for me to leave."
Now his agent Paulo Tonietto has urged Barcelona to stop merely admiring his client and act on their intentions.
He told radio station RAC1: "It has been said that Tito really wants to sign him and if that's the case, someone should speak up.
"If someone wants to buy someone, it's not going to happen while they're sitting at home watching television."
