Supersub O'Sullivan rescues draw for Ireland
Ireland 2, Austria 2
FIONA O'SULLIVAN scored a second-half brace for Ireland's women as they fought back from a two-goal deficit against Austria at Tallaght Stadium to claim a draw.
The visitors swept ahead in this friendly on 23 minutes. A corner by Bayern Munich's Laura Feiersinger was cleared only as far as Viktoria Schnaderbeck who smashed a 20-yard drive into the top corner.
Feiersinger continued to dictate matters, firstly striking the foot of the post after 55 minutes. She was more accurate, though, 12 minutes later when put clear on goal, easily lobbing Emma Byrne.
Substitute O'Sullivan ignited the Irish comeback on 69 minutes by earning a penalty after being hauled down in the penalty area by Anna-Carina Kristler and converting the spot-kick.
Three minutes later, the US-born forward brilliantly headed the Irish equaliser past Kristler in the Austrian goal from Meabh De Burca's cross.
