Stephen Hunt criticises David Luiz for saying he doesn't want to return to Paris after terror attacks
Paris St Germain defender David Luiz has been criticised by former Republic of Ireland international Stephen Hunt for saying he would rather not return to Paris after the terror attacks on Friday night.
Luiz, who is on international duty with Brzail at the moment, was quoted as saying that if he had a choice he would not go back to the French capital.
"I have my girlfriend, family and friends in Paris. They were sad and frightened. I do not know what I’ll do if I’m going back there. It’s my job but if it were up to me, I would stay," he said.
Hunt, a columnist with the Sunday Independent, reacted to Luiz's stance by tweeting: "David luiz get back on plane and support the city that pays your wages when they need you."
