Ireland will need to swiftly erase the pain of Spain if they're to resume their Euro qualification tilt against Finland in June.

Spain, with six straight wins, will top the group, yet the expansion of the tournament has made it a near certainty that the runners-up will join them in Holland.

Stephanie Roche conjured a couple of half-chances for Ireland before Jennifer Hermoso rattled the net with an 86th-minute rasping effort from the edge of the box.
