Sligo Rovers secured a semi-final meeting against champions Shamrock Rovers by completing a demolition of Portadown.
Already 3-0 up from the first leg at the Showgrounds, Rovers confirmed their progress with goals by teenager Daryl Horgan and the experienced Joseph Ndo.
Sligo opened the scoring five minutes before half-time when Horgan, picked out by a simple pass from John Andrews, was generously given space in the box to shoot past David Miskelly.
Portadown, resting most of their first-choice team before Saturday's Irish Cup final against Crusaders, created just one moment of real danger in the first half, with striker Richard Lecky heading just wide from a long punt forward.
Sligo passed the ball with ease in the second half but urgency was lacking as they were so far ahead.
They did score a second in the 76th minute when substitute Ndo curled a shot from the edge of the box beyond the reach of Miskelly.
