Shamrock Rovers to face Lithuanian side in Champions League qualifier

SHAMROCK Rovers have been drawn against FK Ekranas, from Lithuania, in the Champions League second qualifying round. The dates for the two legs have yet to be confirmed, but Rovers will be at home in the first game.

Meanwhile, Sligo Rovers have drawn Spartak Trnava, from Slovakian, in the second qualifying round draw of the Europe League today.



Trnava came second in their domestic league and were knocked out by Lokomotiv Moscow in the third round of the Europa League last season.



St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians - drawn in the Europa League first qualifier round - face trips to Iceland.



St Pat’s will meet IBV Vestmannaeyjar, who they beat in the first qualifying round of last year’s competition, and Bohs will face Thor Akureyri.



The matches will take place on July 5 and 12.
