RTE’S soccer correspondent Tony O’Donoghue has reported a clean bill of health following a car accident in Dublin yesterday evening.
The accident occurred in north Dublin shortly after the popular reporter finished a live broadcast on the Six: One news.
The presenter was reporting on this weekend's crucial Euro clash with Scotland from Malahide.
It is understood the presenter was treated by doctors, however has suffered no serious injuries.
Thanks to all who sent good wishes after tonight's road traffic accident. Glad to report everyone well.
"Thanks to all who sent good wishes after tonight's road traffic accident. Glad to report everyone well. Love to @FAIreland Doc Alan Byrne," tweeted Tony late last night.
The incident came just two days after Martin O'Neill, Roy Keane and three other members of the Ireland coaching team were involved in a separate road accident in the capital.
Irish assistant boss Roy Keane says that Robbie Keane won’t let his country down if he is selected against Scotland on Saturday but admitted that the veteran's lack of match practice is ‘not ideal.’
