Roy Keane on ...

Everyone needs to remember what a tough game Manchester City have in Newcastle. It won't necessarily be the result the other night that will cost them if they (United) do lose the league. No doubt it will be the Everton game. For me, United are still the best club, and still have the best manager and best supporters. (The best players?) No, I didn't say that.

I don't really listen to Gary! I mean that in a nice way. I played with Gary for 11 or 12 years. I've listened to him enough.

The first game is vital. You've got to get a result in the first game. In an ideal world, that would be a win. Croatia are a very, very good team but you can't build them up to be monsters. The biggest thing in football is never underestimate yourself and if Ireland do that they have a chance.

If it was my call, yeah, you'd have to bring him. You have to admire Trap, who seems loyal to his players. But he is hard to ignore. I know Martin O'Neill loves him. What's the point in being in good form if you're not going to get picked for your country?

He's got a lot to learn, but he's a good player. Everton will suit him I think. Certain games he's got to get by the scruff of the neck. Liverpool in the cup semi-final in the second half, you're thinking, 'Come on, this is what they've brought you to the club for'. He didn't perform. Maybe he'll learn from that, maybe he'll never learn. Maybe he'll get someone to do it for him.
