The recently retired Ronaldo is to follow in the footsteps of Eric Cantona. No, not by exploding to twice his regular size -- he's already scratched that off the list. The former Brazilian striker has announced plans for his big-screen debut.
The former Real Madrid star, who was forced to retire three months ago due to his chronic knee problems, is to star alongside Andy Garcia and Juliette Lewis in Marcio Garcia's new film 'Open Road'. The big star is to play a small role as a bank robber in the film, which starts shooting in Los Angeles next month.
"I'll study the film seriously to do it well," Ronaldo said on Twitter, safe in the knowledge that, when shooting, he can have as many takes as he likes.
