Robbie Keane has lost his fitness battle for tonight's Group C World Cup qualification match against Germany in Cologne.

The LA Galaxy forward picked up a kick in training earlier in the week and has lost his fitness battle. He is replaced in the starting 11 by Celtic Anthony Stokes who comes back into the team after a lengthy absence. Seamus Coleman skippers the side.
