Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Colin Doyle has signed a two-year deal with SPL side Hearts.

The 33-year-old has completed a move to Tynecastle Park after leaving Bradford City at the end of last season.

Doyle is the 14th signing Hearts manager Craig Levein has made in the window.

He has featured in goals for Martin O'Neill's Ireland in the recent friendlies against Turkey, France and the USA.

Speaking to HeartsTV, Colin said: “I spoke to Banksy – Steve Banks - the goalkeeping coach.

“He’s been here as well, and I spoke to Kenny Black, who was assistant to Stuart McCall when he was down at Bradford.

“They had only good things to say about here and how I’d really enjoy it up here.

“Once I came up it was an easy decision. I’m looking forward to it.”
