Reds agree Aspas deal
LIVERPOOL have agreed a deal in principle to sign Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas. The transfer, believed to be costing the Reds about £7.7m, will be finalised once the necessary documentation has been completed.
The 25-year-old becomes manager Brendan Rodgers' second signing of the summer, with Kolo Toure having already agreed to join on a free transfer from Manchester City.
Aspas was one of the revelations of La Liga last season, providing almost all the attacking punch for promoted Celta and scoring 12 goals in 34 games as they avoided relegation on the last day.
However, he tarnished his campaign with a four-game ban for head-butting an opponent.
