The first signing of the Jose Mourinho era is on the verge of being made and Manchester United fans couldn't have landed a bigger star.

Sky Sports are reporting tonight that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign a one year contract with the Red Devils in the near future to reunite with the manager who he played under at Inter Milan.

The Swede's contract with PSG ran out at the end of the current season, which  finished with Ibrahimovic winning a domestic treble and scoring 50 goals in all competitions.

The addition of Zlatan will bolster a Man United strikeforce that already features some of Europe's brightest young talents in Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Sky say that United Executive Vice Chairman Ed Woodward is confident that the deal for Zlatan will be done before Euro 2016.

Ibrahimovic's Sweden will play Ireland in the group opener in Paris on June 13th.
