Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed the date when he will announce his next big career move - with June 7th inked into his diary as the day he expects to sign for Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic is believed to have turned down huge offers to move to China on a free transfer following the conclusion of his contract with French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Yet it appears that he has opted to instead link up with his old Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, with the striker suggesting he will complete his move this coming Tuesday.

"There will be a big announcement on the 7th. It will be this summer's big bomb," stated Ibrahimovic in a Swedish TV interview.

Ibrahimovic played for Sweden as they record a morale boosting 3-0 win against Wales in their Euro 2016 warm-up game on Sunday evening, with their tournament opener against the Republic of Ireland set to take place at the Stade de France on June 13th.

Meanwhile, United are also confident of wrapping up a deal to sign Villarreal defender Eric Bailly in the coming days, with a €40m fee believed to have been agreed to between the two clubs.

The Ivory Coast defender is said to be eager to link up with Mourinho at United, with the spending spree that is expected to take place following the change of manager at Old Trafford already well underway.
