Young Irish prospect named in Jose Mourinho's Man United squad for Europa League clash
Irish prospect Kieran O’Hara is moving up the ladder at Manchester United as he’s been asked by Jose Mourinho to travel to Russia for tomorrow’s Europa League tie with Rostov.
United have brought a 20-man squad to Russia for the first leg of the Europa League battle and O’Hara (20) has been included, as third-choice keeper.
O’Hara has been at United since he was eight and has yet to play for the first team but is his highly-regarded.
Eligible for Ireland through his grandparents, he has been in two Ireland squads at U21 level but although he appeared at a training camp has yet to be capped in an official game and is likely to feature against Kosovo next month.
