Thankfully the young girl who was struck by a shot from Manchester City star Yaya Toure is okay and both sides have ensured that she will have some happy memory of the game.

Champions City were held to a draw at Loftus Road and indeed could be considered fortunate to have taken anything at all after Charlie Austin had two goals disallowed within a minute.

During the game, the Ivorian's wayward shot struck a young supporter behind the goals.

Thankfully it was confirmed afterwards the supporter was okay with the official QPR account tweeting that the girl received signed jerseys following the unfortunate incident.

"Brilliant news! Thanks for letting us know, guys!" the official Manchester City account responded.
