Why are Liverpool suffering more injuries than anyone else?

There have been days in the Anfield reign of Jurgen Klopp when injuries have piled up, or when one of his few irreplaceable players has been lost to the team, but as they prepare for Old Trafford on Monday never have their number been diminished so rapidly and so early in a season.

After the draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night, Klopp wondered aloud whether there might have been an injury curse on the team.
