Watch: Robbie Brady handed 'harsh' straight red card after sliding challenge

Republic of Ireland star Robbie Brady was left stunned as he received a straight red card in Norwich’s New Year’s Eve game against Brentford.

Brady - who is being linked with a move away from Norwich in the January transfer window - was sent off as he slid into a tackle with Ryan Woods, yet it appeared to be a 50-50 challenge that was not worthy of a sending off in the 0-0 draw at Griffin Park.

“I thought the red card was harsh,” declared Norwich manager Alex Neil, who was under pressure heading into the game. “We will look at it again on TV, but I felt Robbie was unlucky.
