Ireland international Stephanie Roche picks her Premier League XI after another weekend of dramatic action.
Team of the week (3-4-3)
It's been a mixed bag from Stoke this season, with some up and down performances. Butland however has been in excellent form and put on a great performance away to Newcastle. He made a string of fine saves to insure his side came away from St James Park with a point.
A great header for City's first goal of the game from the defender and a solid defensive display also. He has settled into the premier league very well and seems to be a lot more comfortable with his team's captain Vincent Kompany alongside him.
Scored in consecutive games for the gunners for the first time in his career with controversial goal against Swansea. Everyone but the Frenchman stopped playing as he seemed adjudged to have fouled his former teammate Fabianski. He was quickest to react and tapped the ball home for his team's second goal of the game. He also played his part in securing a clean sheet for the gunners.
In what was yet another 0-0 draw for his side, Smalling was once again a stand out player. The defender has gone for strength to strength this season with some solid performances at the back and done well to keep a clean sheet against a Crystal Palace side who were a constant threat.
Scored two very good goals against a struggling Chelsea team to help his team win 3-1 and give Jurgen Klopp his first win as Liverpool manager.
When at his best Ozil is a joy to watch. He can be a little bit of an unsung hero at times but he has had a good start to the season and with another two assists against Swansea I'm sure there will be more to come from the German this season.
Scored what was his sixth league goal of the season to bring Leicester city level in the game and then went on to score his second goal. Himself and Jamie Vardy have been in fine form for Leicester city with 18 goals between them already this season.
He showed signs that he had something special about him In the World Cup for Costa Rica but he has yet to have a string of games for Arsenal to try and impose himself on the premier league. Not only did he impress going forward and with his cool finish but he showed great work rate and got back to help his defenders out when needed.
Eight consecutive goals and only two behind Ruud Van Nistelrooy's record of ten. He was a constant goal scoring threat and was exciting to watch.
Secured a new contract with the club after scoring his first hat trick for Everton in what was a thrilling match. In a game that offered up lots of chances Kone was on form and on hand to finish his chances when they came his way.
The Nigerian has had a fantastic start to the season scoring 7 goals and always seems to be involved in all that has been good about Watford this season. The striker scored both goals of the game to beat West Ham 2-0.
