Ireland defender Shane Duffy is one of four Brighton players under investigation after a video surfaced appearing to show the Premier League stars inhaling from a balloon on a winter break.
Duffy was among a group of Brighton players filmed sitting around a table appearing to inhale gas from a balloon in Spain. The craze normally contains nitrous oxide and is known as 'hippy crack'. Although it has not been confirmed if that was the case here, the club has launched an internal investigation.
A club spokesperson said: "The club is aware of the video circulating on social media. This matter is being dealt with internally."
