Rodgers hopes choir of Kings can leave Kenny all shook up
Kenny Dalglish won't be the only 'King' at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow. The Liverpool boss will be surrounded by thousands of Elvis Presley impersonators after Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers asked fans to stage a Liberty Stadium tribute to the other King.
"Sunday is going to be brilliant," said Rodgers. "I will be asking all the fans if they can wear as many Elvis Presley costumes as we can because when we got promoted the bookies said there was more chance of seeing Elvis than us staying at this level.
"As a show of our achievement we'll ask for them to do that."
Costume shop owners in Swansea city centre have reported a huge demand from fans wanting to be a King for a day.
"There were people waiting for me to open up this morning, and I wasn't able to have my morning coffee until midday," Carol Guy, owner of Mardi Gras Fancy Dress said.
"There has been a big demand for costumes, for wigs and for glasses, and it hasn't stopped."
Rodgers will be hoping his Welsh choir of Elvises leave Liverpool all shook up.
