Referee Kevin Friend taken to hospital after passing out at Bournemouth
Fourth official Kevin Friend passed out and banged his head on the Dean Court dugout in the first-half of Bournemouth's Premier League clash with Southampton.
Both teams' medics quickly rushed to Friend's aid, with referee Mike Dean quickly blowing for time on the first-half, Bournemouth taking a 1-0 lead into the break of the Premier League clash on the south coast.
The start of the second-half was delayed by five minutes as the officials took stock, and Friend was taken to hospital.
