Sky Sports have once again made one of the worst errors possible from an Irish perspective - branding one of our sporting heroes an Englishman.

After the All-Ireland football final between Dublin and Mayo, a Sky presenter had an unfortunate slip of the tongue, calling the decider the 'All-England final', and today the broadcaster has slipped up again.

Ireland defender Stephen Ward has been a regular in the Burnley defence during the opening weeks of the Premier League season, and his performances didn't go unnoticed by the Sky website.

Unfortunately, he was lumped in with nine team-mates as one of 'ten Englishmen' used by manager Sean Dyche in the first five games.

The article originally published a photo with the caption 'Stephen Ward is one of 10 Englishmen fielded by Burnley in the Premier League so far this season', before it was replaced with a picture of Will Keane.
