WATCH - Michael Carrick joins the Manchester United away fans in a sing-song at Burnley

Kevin Palmer

Kevin Palmer

Michael Carrick enjoyed his afternoon sitting alongside the Manchester United travelling fans at Burnley, as he joined in with their chants during a tense 1-0 win for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Carrick is currently sidelined with injury and it was confirmed earlier this week that he will join the club’s coaching staff when he hangs up his boots for good at the end of this season.

Yet despite his inability to get involved in the Premier League action, he appeared to be in good spirits as he led the United fans in an impromptu sing-song.

Football fans wants their players to show passion for the club and Carrick’s efforts at Burnley will be well received by United fans around the world.
