WATCH - Eric Bailly teases Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Man United return in play-fight video

Eric Bailly has dropped another huge hint that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ready to return to Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic was released by United earlier this summer after suffering knee ligament damage during the club's Europa League quarter-final win over Anderlecht last season.

But there is a growing sense that the 35-year-old will return to Old Trafford, with the view to taking a coaching role once his playing career comes to an end.

Ibrahimovic recently posted an injury update video in which the Swede showed no sign of the injury that ended his season.

Now the big Swede looks ready to re-join United after Bailly posted a video of the pair play-fighting in Manchester United's training ground dressing room.

In the clip Bailly playfully kicks Ibrahimovic in the bottom before scampering away in fear as the Swede gives chase.

Hope you're almost ready to return, @iamzlatanibrahimovic, I'll be right here!

Romelu Lukaku has taken Ibrahimovic's number nine shirt this season but the number ten has been lift untaken - sparking rumours that Ibrahimovic will take the shirt when he returns.

“We are discussing the possibility of him to stay with us,” said Mourinho following Manchester United's Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid in Macedonia.

“It was very clear from him that what he did last year was not enough for him. He wants more football at the highest level so we are having conversations and discussing the possibility of him staying for the second part of the season.

"He is injured, he needs time to recover, and is not ready to play tomorrow. It’s not something that’s urgent, it’s not desperate to have it done or not.”

Ibrahimovic was Manchester United's top goalscorer last season with 17 goals in 27 appearances.
