Reports: Paul Pogba's agent on the cusp of brokering record move to Man United
Finally, after weeks of negotiations, rumour and speculation, it would seem as though Paul Pogba’s world record transfer to Manchester United is set to go through after his agent met with Juventus officials in Turin today.
Sky Sports are citing their sources in Italy and claiming that Pogba’s representative, Mino Raiola, is on the verge of reaching a favourable agreement with the Serie A Champions, having met his star client in Miami this week.
Ironically, it has been a failure by United and Juventus to reach a compromise as to who should foot Raiola’s reputed €20m commission, that has caused the transfer story of the summer to linger as long as it has.
Reports over the last week have suggested that United have already met the French midfielder’s personal terms and the estimated €110m Juventus have demanded for him.
Raiola, who has already facilitated the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimović and Henrikh Mkhitaryan at Old Trafford this summer, has apparently proven the greatest obstacle in United acquiring a player they let go for free four years ago.
