Paul Pogba’s rapper friend Stormzy appears to have unofficially confirmed the French midfielder has completed his move to Manchester United after a video emerged featuring the duo apparently celebrating his €100m transfer.

Pogba has posted footage alongside Stormzy on his social media channels in recent weeks, with an Adidas promotional clip that hyped up his imminent return to Old Trafford last week also featuring the London hip hop star.

Now the duo have appeared in a video that is circulating on line that shows Stormzy wearing a Manchester United with Pogba on the back and the player himself also making an appearance dancing in the clip.

Stormzy posted this video on his Facebook page before it was quickly deleted, but plenty of United fans managed to take a screen shot before it disappeared.

It appears to be a pretty original way to confirm the biggest transfer in football history is complete, with this video already viewed thousands of times on Twitter.

Earlier, a photograph had emerged showing Pogba with United’s laundry ladies, but hints from the club’s official TV channel that they had something big to reveal later in the evening failed to materialize.

Pogba spent most of the day at United’s Carrington training base as he finalised his record breaking move to Old Trafford, four years after he left the club with just a small compensation fee paid by Juventus after a contract dispute.

United are now expected to officially announce the signing on Tuesday.
