Paul Pogba's brother Mathias has appeared on Spanish television and suggested the Manchester United midfielder could still seal a move to Real Madrid ahead of the Spanish transfer deadline on September 2nd.

Malaga striker Mathias Pogba was a guest on Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, with the future of his brother inevitably a point of discussion in a summer that has seen United's record signing repeatedly linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Pogba and his high-profile agent Mino Raiola have made it clear that they are keen to seal a move this month and Real Madrid head coach Zinezine Zidane has not tried to hide his admiration for the French World Cup winner, with Mathias suggesting his brother would still like to make the move this month.

"Nothing is impossible in life," said Mathias when asked whether his brother could move to Real Madrid in the next two weeks. "He is dedicated but every player has personal objectives so, if he has to move on to achieve them, then he moves on, if he can. If he can't, then he has to stay where he is and give everything where he is."

When asked what he thought Real Madrid were missing in their line-up ahead of the new Spanish season, Mathias responded: "My brother. I think, honestly, he needs a centre midfielder."

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he has no intention of allowing Pogba to leave United this summer, with the club's failure to sign a single midfielder in the transfer window seemingly ending any prospect of a move to Real Madrid for now.
