Jamie Carragher trolls Man United with a brilliant tweet after FA announce plans for ban divers
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has been having fun at Manchester United's expense on Twitter, after he used Football Association's announcement of new regulations to combat players diving in the Premier League to poke fun at the Old Trafford club.
Under the new rules agreed by the governing body at its annual general meeting on Thursday, a panel will review footage from the weekend each Monday looking for cases of simulation.
Any player unanimously found guilty of "successful deception of a match official" in incidents that result in red cards on penalties will be punished, with Carragher quick to suggest this new rule will be a blow to Jose Mourinho’s United.
The Sky Sports pundit has long been one of the more inventive users of the social media channel and his followers lapped up a tweet that was brilliantly devious in its inception.

After the Football Association confirmed retrospective bans will be handed out to players found guilty of diving from the start of next season, Carragher offered up this message that tapped into the suggestion some of the United players have been guilty of diving to win penalties this season.
It will come as little surprise that United’s less than balanced winger Ashley Young was among those mentioned amid the long stream of responses to this tweet:
