Manchester United's record signing Angel di Maria starred in Argentina's 4-2 friendly win over Germany and United's other marquee signing Radamel Falcao can't wait to team up with the Argentine.
The £59.7million signing set up three goals and found the net himself in Argentina's victory over the world champions in Dusseldorf.
Radamel Falcao is looking forward to playing alongside ex-Real Madrid star Di Maria, who he knows from their time in the Spanish league together.
"Angel is a fantastic player," the former Atletico Madrid man told reporters in Miami ahead of Colombia's clash with Brazil at the Sun Life Stadium.
"I love the way he plays, I really do. I am very excited to be a team-mate of his and also to be part of Manchester United."
Falcao's loan move to Old Trafford was the biggest shock of deadline day.
The 28-year-old's loan deal, which was announced at 1:30am on Tuesday, was seen as a last-gasp coup by the Red Devils, but Falcao said United and Monaco had been in discussions over a possible deal for a long time.
"We have been in talks with the club for some months and, in the end, we were able to reach an agreement with Monaco on the last day of the transfer deadline," he said.
"I am happy at Manchester United."
Despite a summer spending spree that eventually cost the club £150million, United have made a poor start to the season.
Louis van Gaal is without a win after three league matches and he also suffered the embarrassment of a 4-0 reverse to MK Dons in the Capital One Cup.
Falcao thinks United possess a strong team spirit which will help them overcome their troubles though.
"I haven't had the opportunity to speak with the players but, although they are stars, they are also footballers that play for the team to achieve the common goals of the group," Falcao said.
"I am sure this will be the basis of our success and in any team that wants to achieve important things."
Angel di Maria inspired Argentina on a Dusseldorf mission over their World Cup final conquerors Germany as the Manchester United new boy scored once and set up three goals in a 4-2 victory.
