“Before I got the job they were saying at Manchester United you need to play the football in a certain way and I agree totally,” stated Mourinho in an interview quoted by the BBC.

“You cannot play like some successful teams in the Premier League, but they play with a completely different style. We have to play attacking football and then to be humble and analyse the match.

“Chelsea are very good defensive team. They defend very well and with lots of players and I think in this situation a very defensive team wins the title with counterattack goals and set pieces goals so I don't think they will let it slip, but football is football.”

Mourinho also offered up these comments to MUTV, as he described his side’s display in their win against Watford as ‘amazing’.
