Manchester United are keen to sign Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this summer and are willing to offer Victor Valdes as part of the deal.

The Metro reports that the Spurs No 1 has become United's top goalkeeping target if they do lose David De Gea to Real Madrid.

De Gea has been long-mooted with a move to the Spanish giants even though United are desperate to keep hold of his services.

If United lose their battle, they are willing to pay out £25m plus Valdes to land Lloris.

Valdes joined the Old Trafford side in the January transfer window, but has not made a single appearance for the first-team.

United have also been linked with a £18.5m move for Argentina defender Ezequiel Garay.

The Zenit St Petersburg centre-back is thought to be keen to leave Russia and would love a move to English shores.

Garay joined Zenit last year having joined from Benfica. He has also spent three years at Real Madrid earlier in his career.

Meanwhile, Ashley Young looks set to sign a new three-year contract to remain at United.

The winger has had a good season under Louis van Gaal and is likely to sign a new deal at the end of the campaign.
