Man City striker Gabriel Jesus spotted travelling around Manchester on mobility scooter

Crocked Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has been spotted comically travelling around the Trafford Centre in Manchester on a mobility scooter normally reserved for a much more mature shopper.

Jesus made a big impact in his first five games at City following his high profile arrival in January, but his season appears to have come to an end early after he broke his foot last month.

With his injured foot in a boot, shoppers in Manchester’s biggest shopping venue were treated to the sight of one of the highest rated players in world football making his way around on a device that is normally reserved for a more elderly passenger.

It will come as little surprise that social media channels have been filling up with comical comments on the incident, even though the City star seemed less than concerned about the commotion he was causing.

Meanwhile, one English newspaper offered up a devious headline that was a play on the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Jesus Christ Superstar, as they described the City striker as ‘Jesus Christ Scooter Star’.

This video that has been picked up by Sky Sports’s Soccer AM Twitter account hardly needs any more comment:
