We go again - Liverpool to make a third and final offer for Naby Keita
Liverpool are planning a third bid of £75m - with £40m up front - for RB Leipzig's Naby Keita, in what is likely to be a final offer. The Merseyside club feel that could finally be enough to persuade Leipzig, who have so far been completely unmoving in their stance that the player is not for sale.
Jurgen Klopp, however, will tell Philippe Coutinho to shelve his ambition to play for Barcelona with no prospect of a sale this summer.
Coutinho signed a five-year deal last season, and the expectation then was he would remain for a minimum of two more campaigns before pursuing a long-term goal of playing in La Liga.
Previous Liverpool target Virgil Van Dijk, meanwhile, has reportedly been training alone "for days", having informed new Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino that he wanted to leave the club in one of their first meetings.
The Argentine manager has to publicly revealed that the 26-year-old had asked to leave, with Liverpool a likely destination despite controversy over an alleged previous approach.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has given Nemanja Matic permission to pursue a £50 million transfer to Manchester United while Manchester City are expected to take their summer spending to almost £220 m in the next 48 hours as they prepare to wrap up deals for full-backs Danilo and Benjamin Mendy.
