Mohamed Salah's agent pours cold water on claims Liverpool are set to hand his client a new contract
Mohamed Salah's spectacular first season at Liverpool may end up being problematic for the Anfield club, with Real Madrid rumoured to be interested in making a move for the Egyptian star this summer.
So reports over the weekend suggesting the Reds were in talks over a new £200,000-a-week contract for Salah were greeted with enthusiasm by by the club's supporter, who will not want to lose another star name after the departures of Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho in recent years.
Yet Salah's agent Rammy Abbas Issa has suggested the rumours of a new deal for Salah with Liverpool are wide of the mark, with his tweets confirming neither he nor his client have been leaking stories to the newspapers.
