Brendan Rodgers was only ousted as Liverpool manager a couple of hours ago but there are already reports that the club have quickly chosen his successor.

Bosnian news outlet Pravdabl is reporting that former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp will take over the Reds on a three year contract and Bosnian coach Zeljko Buvac will be his assistant.

If Klopp hasn't yet signed a deal, it still appears to just be a matter of time before the German is confirmed in the role.

Klopp won two Bundesliga titles with Dortmund and took them to the 2013 Champions League final where they were defeated by Bayern Munich. Brendan Rodgers was informed of Liverpool's decision to sack him just one hour after today's Merseyside derby, which the club drew 1-1 with neighbours Everton.
