Harry Kane has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur must prove they can get over the finishing line and win a trophy, writes Matt Law.

Having reduced the gap at the top of the Premier League table to four points, Tottenham lost to Chelsea in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino still believes his side, who face Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, can fight for the title. But Kane concedes that, following last season's collapse, Tottenham must now show they can last the pace.

"We were the better team against Chelsea," said Kane. "We have got six tough games ahead of us in the Premier League. We want to finish strong in the League and learn from what happened last year. The only way we can do that is starting with a win on Wednesday. It's one game at a time, not long left and we have to give it everything. We can't control what Chelsea do. We just to have win our games. We will keep fighting hard." (© Daily Telegraph, London)
