Jurgen Klopp loses patience and ready to offload £25m Daniel Sturridge
Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, is understood to have lost patience with Daniel Sturridge and is ready to sell the injury-prone striker, according to a report in the Mirror.
Sturridge has played just 106 minutes of football since Klopp arrived at Anfield in October and the German, who has already expressed his misgivings over the England international's desire to recover, is now ready to listen to offers of around £25m.
Despite scoring 44 goals in 72 matches since his arrival at Anfield it is hard to see which club would be prepared to spend such a sum on a player that has spent over half of his Liverpool career on the sidelines.
Klopp, meanwhile, is understood to be interested in signing Mario Suárez, the Fiorentina midfielder, a report in Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport says.
After joining Fiorentina from Atlético Madrid last summer the Spaniard has struggled in Italy where he has made just four appearances.
Manuel Garcia Quillion, the midfielder's agent, has said a number of teams are interested in the 28 year-old.
"There are two Spanish teams, three English teams and one French team after him," Quillion said.
Suárez, who made three appearances for Spain, would cost around £6m.
